My good friend Sivert Høyem of Madrugada released this as a solo song in 2010. This version is something we did together for an online fundraiser for Dråpen I Havet (The Drop in the Ocean), a Norwegian nonprofit organisation that works to improve the lives and secure the human rights of refugees. It was during the pandemic, so we recorded it remotely in our homes.
I always love to sing with Sivert. It’s almost like we have the same phrasing when we sing. There’s something about the way we sing that’s very similar, even though our music is quite different in how it sounds. Singing with Sivert feels so wonderfully easy and very meaningful, in a way, and I think that we are going to do more together in the future.

I love to listen to this during work, it fills me with calmness and I can almost smell the scents of the forest.
Beautiful & serene from start to finish. SilverFolfy
